Sunday–Seeds of Thought

You can call me a country girl, but I love the sight of anything growing–growing corn, growing flowers, growing kids, growing bellies (lovely pregnancy bellies.)  So when I passed this farm of the way to our “Mr.Ryan’s” place, it got me thinking of its beauty.
Since I had an hour while the kids took carving lessons, I looked up some verses on seeds.  It seemed as if the subjecct of “seeds” was grouped into two main categories: seed as applied to HIS people, and seed in reference to a gospel message.  I was more interested in the verses on HIS people.

Psalm 22:28 – 30  For the kingdom is the LORD’s. . .a seed shall serve HIM.

Psalm 102:27 – 28  But THOU art the same, and THY years shall have no end.  The children of THY servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before THEE.

Isaiah 53: 10 . . .HE shall see HIS seed, HE shall prolong HIS days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in HIS hand.  HE shall see of the travail of HIS soul, and shall be satisfied. . .

Psalm 69: 35 The seed also of HIS servants shall inherit [Zion]: and they that love HIS name shall dwell therein.

Just some little seeds for thought,

P.S.  Feel free to add any verses in the comments section.

My husbands favorite parable has always been, “The Parable of the Sower”, the book of Mark, chapter 4.
