. . . .So I am taking a Tap Class. Now I know exactly the image that is going through your head right now.

I may look like a dancing hippo, but I will tell you that I am having a lot of fun. Here is how it started.
Our Piano Teacher is taking a 6 months sabbatical, so I found myself looking for some guitar lessons for the kids. Our Community Center held a class, so I signed up LBG (Little Big Guy) and Scout for lessons. The lessons are one hour-long, so I looked in the Adult Enrichment Section of the catalog to see how I could spend one hour of my time. I was expecting the usual “Nutrition for Over Forty”, or “How To Write Your Will”, or “Meet Your PC” or something equally exciting. What I found was “Adult Tap” was the only Adult Enrichment Class offered at the same time. So. . . . .so. . . . .so what! There are four of us in the class, and we are tip-tapping away. And I will tell you one more thing. It is a lot harder than you think.
Now because I love you so much, and because I know that you will not laugh at my attempts at dancing or at my “mommi figure”. And because I know that you won’t show this video of my tap class around to everyone in the world, and their neighbor, and their cousin, and their cousin-in-law; I am letting you in on a sneak preview.
