She Said–Fall Is. . .

Fall is. . . .

. . .a walk by the lake to say goodbye to the ducks and swans.

. . .long shadows.

. . .soccer games every Saturday morning.

. . .watching football every Monday night.

. . .an azure blue sky.

. . .a trip to the pumpkin patch with Mr. Ryan.

. . .donuts–pumpkin spice, apple cinnamon, maple glaze.

. . .wearing high-top, high-heeled, leather boots.

. . .the smell of crayons, Spelling Rules, lined paper, and science projects.

. . .a harvest moon to howl by.

. . .oatmeal for breakfast that warms your insides.

. . .a good book.

. . .orange leaves with blue skies.

. . .purple weeds against yellowed grasses,

. . .red apples with silver green leaves,

. . .golden days followed by silvered frosty nights.

. . .fuzzy sweaters.

. . .apple cider, apple pie, apple sauce, apple crisp, Dutch Apple Pancakes, apples on a stick, and apples sliced thick.

. . .sun kisses.

. . .bonfires.

. . .leaves.

. . .windows opened for crisp coffee mornings.

. . .golds and blues.

. . .red.

. . .orange.

. . .quietness and color.

. . .light and shadow, youth and age, warmth and coolness complementing each other.

Enjoying this season,

–rebecca

Fall is….. picking corn on the cob by the dozen…. fall-crop raspberries loaded and luscious.
Full moon tonight…. crisp and cold outside after prayer meeting.

Your area has lots of charm!!! Besides your charming family!!

Fall is…… Eric working 85 hours a week!! Ugh! I really do love fall, the sights, sounds, and smells of apple harvest are wonderful. I also love pumpkin patches, fresh donuts, cider, corn mazes, hayrides, and College football! I love your pictures. This year Michigan has been very beautiful with great colors and weather.

Farmers always work the hardest during the most beautiful times of the year. We hope to come to the Harvest Party and stay over until Monday to see some apple harvest. Hayrides. I forgot about hayrides!
