She Said–Folsum Prison Wrinkles–by Johnny’s Lass

I see the wrinkles comin’.

They’re comin’ ’round the bend.

I haven’t had smooth skin,

Since twenty and ten,

But, I’m struck when I start thinking

How quickly time went by

But the crows feet, spots, and wrinkles,

Say “Your skin don’t lie.”

.

When I was just a baby,

My momma told me, some

advice I wanna give ya,

Don’t bathe in the sun,

But I didn’t listen to her,

I didn’t even try

to wear SPF fifteen, and now,

I hang my head and cry.

.

I bet there’s still young ladies,

In soft and smooth light skin,

They’re prob-bob-ly all think’n

It won’t happen to them,

So wear your sunscreen ladies,

To be wrinkle free.

I could have worn sun lotion,

And that’s what tortures me!

.

Thankyou, Thankyou very much.

That is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! Yay for little John. : )

I’m probably not in the category of the young ladies any more, but my daily moisturizer has SPF 15 and so does my foundation. That is such an easy way to wear it every day without having to think about it or remember!

Wrinkles- the good ones around your eyes that showed you laughed a lot- are a sign of maturity and aging gracefully. Embrace them ladies… we’re all gonna get em… SPF or not!!
