Sunday–Easter

To many Easter is only this. . .

But Easter is really this.

“. . .I know that ye seek JESUS, which was crucified.  HE is not here: for HE is risen!!!!!”   Matthew 28:6

Do you believe in the resurrection?

This morning, the day after Easter, our phone rang at 6:30 a.m.  The Hunni’s brother-in-law had a heart attack from which he never recovered.

Do you know where you will go when you die?

Christians have hope because the Bible says, “Absent from the body. Present with the LORD.”  II Corinthians 5:8

This paradise is ONLY available to sinners.  “CHRIST JESUS came into the world to save sinners.” I Timothy 1:15

Are you a sinner?

“All have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.”  Romans 3:23

To become a saved sinner, you must, “Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31

Have you prayed and told THE LORD JESUS that you believe?

Here is THE Hunni in an ice cream shop buying cones for the kiddos after a long day.  The sign in the window says, “OPEN.”  Right after I snapped this photo, they flipped the sign over to read  “CLOSED.”  And they didn’t let anybody else in.

One day the door of Salvation will also close.  Are you inside? JESUS says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one cometh unto the FATHER, but by ME.”  John 14:6  JESUS is the only way.

Ted’s death wasn’t expected.  Death never is.  Don’t wait.

We are praying for your whole family, R. We know this pain of the complete unexpected death at such a young age. Praying for peace and the feeling of His arms wrapped tightly around you. Praise the Lord He made a way so that I can say–I’m on my way to Heaven!

What timing…God’s timing …it is always the best.. but often hard.
I stopped by Gordon and Mary Jane’s today. I had to see someone, hug someone and share some of the grief. So for a few minutes we talked, they talked, Mary Jane and Lisa. It is helpful just to be there.
